The role offers a great work-life balance with no trauma call, no second call duties, and overnight call from home, working exclusively at one hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide anesthesia care for a diverse set of cases: Ortho (with blocks), Labor and Delivery, Low Volume Healthy Peds (ENT), Spines, Rare Heads, Basic Hearts/CT, Cath Lab, Gyn, Urology, and Other Ancillary Services.
- • Work with CRNAs who take all intubations and epidurals; physician called in for OR cases and C-Sections.
- • Participate in call rotation 1:5 with medical direction max 1:4.
- • Work exclusively at one hospital with no trauma call.

- Mercy Southeast is licensed for 245 beds and serves a population of 675,000 in a five-state area.
- Diverse set of cases: Ortho (with blocks), Labor and Delivery, Low Volume Healthy Peds (ENT), Spines, Rare Heads, Basic Hearts/CT, Cath Lab, Gyn, Urology, and Other Ancillary Services.
- 3 Cardiac OR’s and 1 dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologist with Cardiac CRNA’s 24/7.
- Call rotation 1:5.
- Medical direction with max 1:4.
- No second call duties. Overnight call from home.
- Work exclusively at one hospital.
- No trauma call.
- CRNA takes all intubations and epidurals. Physician called in for OR cases and C-Sections.
