Primary Care Physician in Chicago, IL
The physician will provide compassionate, high quality, patient-centered care within a dedicated primary care team. The role involves collaborative, team-oriented work with staff physicians, nurses, and other medical staff, focusing on serving a growing community and patient base without inpatient responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide compassionate, high quality, patient-centered care
- • Demonstrate positive working relationships and collaborative team-oriented behaviors with staff physicians, nurses, other departments, and other members of the medical staff
Required
- • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state
- • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable
- • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies)
- • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
- • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage

JOB SPECIFICS:
- Established practice seeks a Family Medicine, Med/Peds, or Internal Medicine physician experienced or interested in population health to join our dedicated primary care team to serve a growing community and patient base
- The team consists of 2 Physicians, 2 APPs and support staff
- Office Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with one evening per week 10 am-7pm and one half Saturday a month
- Call is 1:15 with After-Hours Triage Call Service taking first call
- No inpatient responsibilities
- EPIC EMR

- Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $285,000-$305,000.
- Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
