The Hospitalist will manage an average daily census of 18 patients per provider, working 12-hour shifts in a block schedule. The role involves collaborating with nocturnists, APPs, and intensivists, with no procedural responsibilities, using EPIC EMR in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- • Manage an average daily census of 18 patients per provider
- • Work 5-day hospitalist shifts daily (12-hour shifts)
- • Collaborate with 1 nocturnist daily (12-hour shifts)
- • Work alongside 2 APPs daily (6:30a–6:30p and 7a–5p)
- • No procedures required
- • Follow a block schedule
- • Coordinate with ICU covered by Intensivist/APP; Intensivists run code
- • Use EPIC EMR
