The Core Faculty member will dedicate at least 40 hours per week to education, research, professional development, administration, patient care, and clinical supervision within the OB/GYN Graduate Medical Education Residency Program. This role involves serving as a role model and clinical subject matter expert to residents, fostering professionalism, and creating a positive learning environment through constructive feedback and clear expectations for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Devote at least 40 hours per week to education, research, and professional development
- • Perform administrative duties
- • Provide patient care and clinical supervision
- • Serve as a role model and clinical subject matter expert to residents in the OB/GYN GME Program
- • Model professionalism at all times
- • Create a positive learning environment through constructive feedback and clear expectations for patient care
Required
- • Board Certified OB/GYN Physician
- • Licensed or Ability to become licensed in the State of Florida
- • Clear and Active DEA
- • AHCA Background verification as required under House Bill 531 (2025)
Preferred
- • Previous GME or Teaching experience
We are seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Physician to work as a core faculty member of our Graduate Medical Education Residency Program.
Licensed or Ability to become licensed in the State of Florida with a Clear and Active DEA is required.
Previous GME or Teaching experience is a plus!
Duties and Responsibilities: The Core Faculty is expected to devote at least 40 hours per week to this effort. Time is roughly divided into the following responsibilities:
Education, Research and professional development
Administration
Patient care and clinical supervision
Position Expectations: The Core Faculty serve as a role model and clinical subject matter expert to residents in the OB/GYN GME Program. This individual shall model professionalism at all times and create a positive learning environment thru constructive feedback and clear expectations for patient care.
