Upstate Medical University
Provide professional pathology services including review and sign-out of general surgical pathology cases, musculoskeletal cases, and dermatopathology cases. Consult with University Hospital staff physicians, perform frozen sections, assist in quality assurance monitoring, teach residents/students, and develop research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- • Review and sign-out of general surgical pathology cases, including musculoskeletal cases, and dermatopathology cases
- • Consulting with University Hospital staff physicians
- • Frozen sections
- • Assist in quality assurance monitoring, and reporting monthly to anatomic pathology staff as required by institutional polices and procedures
- • Teach residents/students as assigned
- • Develop research initiatives
Required
- • MD or DO license for NYS
- • Must be board eligible or certified in AP, AP/CP
- • Clean malpractice insurance
- • Insurance credentialed
