Physicians will practice urgent care medicine in a low acuity setting, treating patients from newborns to geriatrics with common conditions such as colds, UTIs, and minor injuries. The role involves working twelve-hour shifts with a one-hour break, managing approximately four patients per hour, and performing common procedures like I&D of abscesses, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
Key Responsibilities
- • Practice urgent care medicine twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break
- • Work full-time with 12 shifts per month and 2 on-call shifts per month
- • Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low acuity setting
- • Treat patients for colds/coughs/congestion, UTIs, lumps, bumps, and bruises
- • Perform bread & butter procedures: I&D of Abscesses, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair
- • Use in-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray with all X-rays over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist
- • Use VelociDoc EMR with Dragon dictation

We have 18 facilities in five counties, with our newest location in Los Angeles County. Physician candidates must be Board-Eligible (if recently graduated) or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine to practice at our facility locations.
