Vascular Surgery- Venous Practice - Connecticut

This role involves evaluating and managing patients with superficial and deep venous insufficiency within an established outpatient venous practice. The position includes working with a dedicated team of advanced practitioners and registered nurses, utilizing on-site vascular lab imaging, and collaborating with multispecialty services to provide comprehensive patient-centered vein care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with superficial and deep venous insufficiency
  • Work within an established practice with a dedicated team of advanced practitioners and registered nurses
  • Coordinate care and support throughout the treatment plan
  • Utilize on-site vascular lab imaging performed by a registered vascular technologist in an IAC Vascular Testing-accredited lab
  • Collaborate with podiatry, wound care, lymphedema services, hematology, infectious disease, and radiology
  • Participate in the Vascular Study Group of New England database
  • Engage in teaching and clinical research opportunities
  • Attend three weekly vascular education conferences
Required
  • Board Certified / Eligible American Board of Surgery
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Connecticut

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group seeks a BC/BE vascular surgeon to join our outpatient venous practice. Join a collegial group of fellowship-trained vascular surgeons in scenic Hartford and Eastern Connecticut. The primary practice position is in Hartford HealthCare’s East Region at ambulatory offices along the shoreline and the central Hartford area.

We are looking for a dedicated surgeon who evaluates and manages patients with superficial and deep venous insufficiency. Step into an established practice with a dedicated team of advanced practitioners and registered nurses that provides seamless coordination of care and support throughout the treatment plan, contributing to a patient-centered vein practice. On-site vascular lab imaging performed by a registered vascular technologist in an IAC Vascular Testing-accredited lab. Multispecialty collaboration with podiatry, wound care, lymphedema services, hematology, infectious disease, and radiology. There is no call-coverage obligation with this position.
