Key Responsibilities

Required
- • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- • Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
Preferred
- • BE/BC, fellowship trained Abdominal Transplant Surgeon
- • Experience with high-risk donors
- • Experience in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery, liver transplant and pediatric kidney transplant
- • Faculty appointment commensurate with experience

- 600+ bed, level I trauma and academic facility
- Join our innovative and aggressive abdominal transplant program
- Growing program with 69 kidneys and 7 kidney/pancreases transplants in 2025
- Experience with high-risk donors is highly preferred
- Experience in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery, liver transplant and pediatric kidney transplant is a plus
- General Surgery resident and medical student education on-site
- Faculty appointment commensurate with experience
