This role involves providing patient care in a busy addiction treatment clinic alongside addiction psychiatrists and physicians, teaching fellows, psychiatry residents, family medicine residents, and third-year medical students. The position offers opportunities to engage in clinical care, teaching, academic involvement, and potential leadership in addiction medicine education and research.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide patient care in a busy addiction treatment clinic where addiction medicine physicians and addiction psychiatrists collaborate
- • Teach fellows, psychiatry residents, family medicine residents, and third-year medical students
- • Develop innovative programs in integrated collaborative care
- • Pursue research and career growth opportunities, including potential leadership as Fellowship Program Director
- • Contribute to the ACGME-accredited Addiction Medicine Fellowship
Required
- • MD/DO (or equivalent degree)
- • Board certified/board eligible in addiction medicine

- Psychiatrist board-certified in addiction medicine leading the Addiction Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service
