Optimum Connect Health Services
Provide expert neurological care in outpatient and collaborative settings, managing a wide range of neurological disorders. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans and improve patient quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- • Perform detailed neurologic evaluations including cranial nerves, reflexes, coordination, gait, and mental status.
- • Diagnose and treat a full spectrum of neurological conditions, including headaches (migraine, cluster, tension-type), dementia, delirium, depression, seizure disorders, neuropathies, radiculopathies, myelopathies, Parkinson’s disease, other degenerative disorders, multiple sclerosis, demyelinating diseases, and stroke or cerebral ischemic events.
- • Interpret and perform EMGs and EEGs to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- • Collaborate with physicians, neurosurgeons, physician assistants, neuropsychologists, and other specialists to deliver high-quality interdisciplinary care.
- • Educate patients and families about neurological health, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
- • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with medical and healthcare administration standards.
Required
- • MD or DO with an active New York State medical license.
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- • Active DEA registration.
Preferred
- • EMG/EEG experience preferred.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
