General Neurologist
This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient neurological care at RWJ University Hospital Somerset and its associated outpatient offices. The position includes managing general neurology patients, participating in a shared call group, and working within a hospital recognized for its stroke and epilepsy centers.
Key Responsibilities
- • Inpatient work at RWJ University Hospital Somerset, a 300-bed community hospital with a primary stroke center and a level 3 epilepsy center
- • Outpatient responsibilities seeing general neurology patients in one of 2 office locations within a 10-mile radius from the hospital
- • Participate in a shared call group
Required

- • NJ licensed or eligible for NJ licensure

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is currently seeking a General Neurologist for employment with RWJ University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. The position includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and the chance to join a thriving practice with shared call group. Inpatient work will be conducted at RWJ University Hospital Somerset, a 300-bed community hospital with a primary stroke center and a level 3 epilepsy center, a closed ICU and several dedicated hospitalists. Outpatient responsibilities are centered on seeing general neurology patients in one of 2 office locations within a 10-mile radius from the hospital.
Located in the very desirable Central New Jersey area, this position is near top-notch schools and beautiful suburban neighborhoods.
