The Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care within an integrated healthcare system, participating in a high-acuity, high-volume academic practice. The role includes shared Level I trauma call, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, and engaging in clinical research to advance the department's clinical mission.
Key Responsibilities

- • Fully participate in the research, education, and clinical programs of the Foot and Ankle Division and the Department
Required
- • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- • Completion of accredited Orthopaedic residency
- • Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle required
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedics
- • Eligible for NH medical licensure

The successful candidate will join an established division and provide comprehensive foot and ankle care within an integrated healthcare system. The role will be based out of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, with additional clinical responsibilities at affiliate hospitals, all located within the Upper Valley, offering a short and convenient commute between sites. The position includes participation in a team-based academic practice, as well as shared Level I trauma call consistent with departmental needs. Academic responsibilities may include teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in both clinical and educational settings.
It is expected that your clinical practice would have a focus on clinical research aimed at advancing the clinical mission of the department and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. With this, you will also hold a faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine and will fully participate in the research, education, and clinical programs of the Foot and Ankle Division and the Department.
