Key Responsibilities
- • Review and approve medical records as required by state law
- • Provide clinical consultation to NPs/PAs as needed
- • Support accurate psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- • Ensure prescribing practices align with APA and SAMHSA guidelines
- • Participate in periodic quality review meetings

CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to serve as a Collaborating Physician for our psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Position Overview
The Collaborating Physician provides clinical oversight to CHE psychiatric NPs/PAs by reviewing charts, ensuring adherence to best-practice guidelines, and supporting diagnostic and treatment accuracy. This role is fully collaborative—no direct patient care required. CHE’s State and Regional Directors provide day-to-day operational support for NPs and PAs.
