Urology Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Urology at Goldsboro
Join a growing urology practice with experienced colleagues, providing care primarily at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro, NC. The role involves a 1:5 call rotation shared with another two-physician group and working with a skillful support staff and hospitalist service. New trainees are welcome, and the practice uses EPIC EMR.
Key Responsibilities
- • Participate in a 1:5 call rotation shared with another two-physician group in Kinston NC
- • Provide urological care at UNC Health Wayne and UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston NC
- • Work with skillful support staff and hospitalist service on staff
Required
- • Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements
- • Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- • Board Certified Internal Medicine
- • DEA license
- • ACLS certification
- • MD
- • Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- • North Carolina Medical License
- • BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- • Board certified in Internal Medicine

- • Prior hospitalist experience

About Us
- Wayne Health Urological Associates is a growing urology practice that has been in the Goldsboro NC community for over 30 years
- You will be joining a practice with two other Urologists with approximately 25 years of combined Urology experience
- As the 3rd Urologist you will be able to learn from the best or enhance your current skills with your new colleagues
- 1:5 call rotation. This group shares call with another two-physician group in Kinston NC, and call coverage is for UNC Health Wayne and UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston NC
- Your primary hospital will be at UNC Health Wayne (formerly Wayne Memorial Hospital) in Goldsboro NC. The hospital is now affiliated and managed by UNC Health.
