Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster
The role involves full-time orthopedic hand surgery focused on surgical treatment of the hand and upper extremities. The surgeon will work collaboratively within a team of hand surgeons and hand therapy staff across multiple locations, participating in call schedules and promoting the orthopedic practice.
Key Responsibilities
- • Promotes the mission and core values of the OAL Enterprise.
- • Observes OAL Enterprise’s policies and procedures.
- • Surgical treatment of the hand and upper extremities.
- • Devotes full business time to the practice of orthopedic medicine and surgery for OAL and to the affairs of OAL.
- • Promotes OAL’s orthopedic medicine and surgery practice.
- • Participating in a call schedule which shall be shared equitably among physician employees of OAL.
- • Other duties as assigned.
Required
- • The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity.
- • MD or DO from an accredited program.
- • Licensed in the State of Pennsylvania.
- • Current DEA license.
- • ACLS and PALS certified.
- • Completion of the organization’s credentialing process.
- • Work collaboratively with business staff, clinical staff, and physicians.
- • The ability to work with an electronic medical record system, such as EPIC.

Summary:
Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster, (OAL), is an independent physician-owned orthopedic practice with ancillary services including MRI, CT, orthopedic urgent care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and two ambulatory surgery centers located in Central, PA. OAL is seeking to add a full-time Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our team of three hand surgeons and our hand therapy department that is fully staffed with OTCs/CHTs at five of our locations.
Responsibilities:
Promotes the mission and core values of the OAL Enterprise.
Observes OAL Enterprise’s policies and procedures.
Surgical treatment of the hand and upper extremities.
Devotes full business time to the practice of orthopedic medicine and surgery for OAL and to the affairs of OAL.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
