Physician - Anesthesiology

Deliver anesthesia care for a broad range of adult surgical procedures across multiple specialties in inpatient hospitals and ambulatory surgery settings. Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs within a collaborative anesthesia care-team model, managing patients with varying acuity and participating in shared call coverage. Work closely with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure efficient operating room flow and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

About The Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist for a per diem employed position to join our team on the island of O‘ahu.

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. The medical center is home to the Kapi‘olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
