Cardiovascular Surgeon

Provide in-patient and out-patient Cardiac Surgery coverage, perform cardiac surgery procedures, and supervise pre-operative care of cardiac surgery patients. Offer consultative services to referring cardiologists and physicians, participate in multi-disciplinary cardiovascular conferences, and assist with clinical oversight for mid-level providers, surgical house staff, and students in patient care.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery, provide in-patient and out-patient Cardiac Surgery coverage, perform cardiac surgery procedures, supervise pre-operative care of cardiac surgery patients, provide consultative services to referring cardiologists and physicians, participate in multi-disciplinary cardiovascular conferences. Will assist with clinical oversight for mid-level providers, surgical house staff and students in caring for patients. Minimum Qualifications:

MD/DO, Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiac Surgery and Fellowship trained.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday day time hours; Evenings and weekends when needed; On call responsibilities
