Telehealth Psychiatrist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate telehealth psychiatrist to deliver psychiatric care across multiple states. This role involves providing emergency and routine psychiatric care to residents to ensure their mental health needs are met through a flexible and accessible care model.
Key Responsibilities
- • Deliver psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning via telehealth.
- • Provide both routine and emergency psychiatric care for residents in long-term care settings.
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- • Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- • Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- • Collaborate with behavioral health care managers to streamline telepsychiatry services to ensure smooth transitions between in-person and virtual care.
- • Ensure that all telehealth psychiatric services follow state and federal regulations, including CMS, Medicare, and telehealth-specific rules.
Required
- • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- • Board-certified in Psychiatry
- • Eligible for licensure in multiple states (PHP can assist with licensure)
- • Ability to collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners, LISWs, and behavioral health care managers in a virtual environment.
- • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth-specific documentation practices.
- • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
