Required
- • MD/DO or equivalent
- • Florida license eligible
- • Completed Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery
- • Board certified/eligible in General Surgery
- • ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
- • DEA License

The Department of Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncology & Gastroenterology at Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Board-certified/eligible Colorectal Surgeon faculty member to join our practice at the Assistant or Associate Member level. Specifically, we are seeking a Colorectal surgeon with an interest in developing and expanding a cancer-focused colorectal surgery practice based at one of our Moffitt Ambulatory Centers - MAC (satellites sites). The candidate must have training/expertise in the surgical and multidisciplinary management of colorectal cancer, including minimally invasive techniques. The clinical scope of the position includes inpatient, outpatient, and surgical care of oncology patients with colorectal/anal cancers. The candidate will join an established team of colorectal surgeons, working within multidisciplinary teams. While the position will have outpatient clinic at one of our MACs satellites, surgical cases are centered at our Moffitt McKinley Hospital, along with all other surgical faculty within our department. This position includes an opportunity to grow an clinical/academic program. Within Moffitt Cancer Center, The Department of Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncology & Gastroenterology is uniquely situated within a multidisciplinary, collaborative GI program that provides high quality care to patients in one of six primary disease sites: Colorectal, Gastroesophageal, Liver, Pancreas, Peritoneal and Neuroendocrine. The Department includes 19 faculty members in GI Surgical Oncology, General/Acute Care Surgery and GI-Endoscopy, and 18 APPs.
