Key Responsibilities
- • Provide inpatient care in newborn nursery and pediatric floor admissions
- • Provide outpatient pediatric care
- • Collaborate with NICU and PICU physicians for complicated patients
- • Participate in a call schedule of 1:5 with possible flexing call schedule with hospitalist duties
- • Teach family medicine residents and medical students
- • Supervise nurse practitioners
- • Perform procedures including circumcisions and lumbar punctures
Required
- • Pediatrician qualified to join teaching faculty
- • Ability to provide both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care
- • Willingness to participate in call schedule
- • Experience or willingness to teach family medicine residents and medical students
- • Ability to supervise nurse practitioners

Spartanburg Regional is seeking a pediatrician to join the teaching faculty at the Spartanburg Medical Center – Center for Pediatrics, located in Spartanburg, SC. The practice provides continuity of care to the patients of Spartanburg, SC.
