Physician - Center for Pediatrics

This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care, including newborn nursery and pediatric floor admissions, with support from NICU and PICU physicians. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient care in newborn nursery and pediatric floor admissions
  • Provide outpatient pediatric care
  • Collaborate with NICU and PICU physicians for complicated patients
  • Participate in a call schedule of 1:5 with possible flexing call schedule with hospitalist duties
  • Teach family medicine residents and medical students
  • Supervise nurse practitioners
  • Perform procedures including circumcisions and lumbar punctures
Required
  • Pediatrician qualified to join teaching faculty
  • Ability to provide both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care
  • Willingness to participate in call schedule
  • Experience or willingness to teach family medicine residents and medical students
  • Ability to supervise nurse practitioners

Spartanburg Regional is seeking a pediatrician to join the teaching faculty at the Spartanburg Medical Center – Center for Pediatrics, located in Spartanburg, SC. The practice provides continuity of care to the patients of Spartanburg, SC.
