Staff Physician - Pediatric Allergy Immunology
The Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Physician will provide outpatient care for a variety of allergy and immunology patients, including those with complex immunologic disorders, and participate in inpatient consultation support. The role involves active participation in education for fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as engagement in scholarly, quality improvement, and research activities.
Key Responsibilities
- • Care for a variety of allergy and immunology patients including those with common allergic conditions to those with complex immunologic disorders in the outpatient clinic
- • Staff oral food challenge and oral immunotherapy programs alongside specially trained nurses
- • Provide inpatient consultation support to the Children’s Hospital
- • Serve as a SCID newborn screening referral and transplant center
- • Participate in education of allergy and immunology fellows, pediatric and family medicine residents, and medical students in a variety of settings
- • Pursue scholarly, quality improvement, and research interests
- • Participate in resident and medical student education
Required
- • Board certified in Pediatrics (ABP)
- • Completed fellowship in Allergy and Immunology or will have completed fellowship prior to starting employment
- • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- • BC/BE

- We are a division of 5 physicians and 3 CRNPs.

- Assistant Professor of Pediatrics Academic appointment commensurate with level of candidate experience.
- We are seeking someone board certified in Pediatrics (ABP) and has completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology (or will have completed fellowship prior to starting employment.
