The physician provider assesses, plans, evaluates, and delivers patient care based on the customary requirements of their medical specialty. They collaborate with patients, families, healthcare teams, and research colleagues to individualize care, offer novel treatment options, and advance clinical discovery while providing mentorship to junior trainees and medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- • Assess, plan, evaluate, and deliver patient care based on the customary requirements of their medical specialty
- • Collaborate with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional colleagues and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care in a compassionate manner
- • Direct the healthcare team in the provision of appropriate patient care according to the standards of their specialty, the Hospital and departmental policies and procedures
- • Collaborate with research colleagues to offer patients novel treatment options while advancing clinical discovery
- • Provide mentorship to junior trainees, students and other medical professionals
- • Perform the duties of the position in a professional manner
Required
- • Doctorate Degree Medical Degree (MD or DO) Required
- • PA Medical Physician License Required or PA Osteopathic Physician Required
- • Board Certification Required
Preferred
- • 2 years experience in clinical specialty Preferred
