Integra Connect
The Medical Director will lead the strategy, direction, and execution of clinical development plans, providing clinical, healthcare data, and research leadership. This role involves guiding decisions on EHR-derived datasets and driving projects from concept through data interpretation to benefit cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities
- • Orchestrate and manage clinical aspects of regulatory strategies and interactions with Health Authorities.
- • Oversee the analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data and the reporting of clinical trial Results.
- • Serves as a scientific lead to provide clinical, healthcare data, and research leadership, ensuring quality and translating real-world data into insights that benefit cancer patients. This includes guiding decisions about how EHR-derived datasets are developed and used and driving projects from concept to data to interpretation.
- • Serve as a primary clinical and scientific voice of the company both internally, and to our life sciences clients and other external partners.
- • Serve as a thought leader for the direction of the company and its products and services.
- • Provide clinical and scientific input as a member of cross-functional teams to develop real-world datasets and analyses that accelerate evidence generation for progress in cancer care.
- • Contribute to data model development, analyses, results interpretation, and publications.
- • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams when developing novel methods, processes, products, and services.
- • Work cross-functionally to ensure the highest clinical quality and scientific relevance of our products and data.
- • Represent Integra Connect at conferences, both in a speaking and a networking capacity.
- • Supply disease- and/or expertise-specific training to co-workers and clients.
- • Lead research projects within Integra Connect, and in collaboration with external partners including life science companies, government, and other partners.
- • Work with our EHR and Cloud team to improve and develop features for our physician clients through your EHR expertise and clinical judgement.
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine.
- • You're a medical oncologist with 1-3 years of experience.
- • State license to practice medicine.
- • Board certification in a relevant specialty.
- • You have demonstrated expertise in one or more oncology-relevant methodological areas (e.g., outcomes research, health services research, quality improvement science, clinical trials, real-world evidence, etc.).
- • You have experience working with real-world data sources (e.g., EHR, claims, etc.), or experience working with industry in drug development, either in the industry setting or as an academic collaborator.
Preferred
- • Patient care experience in internal medicine preferred.
