Family Medicine or IM/Peds Physician in Kewanee, Illinois

Join a rural health clinic attached to a Critical Access Hospital providing outpatient primary and specialty care with a team of physicians and APPs. The role offers flexible scheduling, minimal call schedule, and strong collaboration among local clinics in a family-oriented team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient primary and specialty care
  • Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians and 4 APPs
  • Participate in a minimal call schedule (1:12) with OSF After-Hours Call Center taking first call
  • Support work/life harmony in a mission driven culture
Required
  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served

  • Clinic offers primary and specialty care. Specialties include: General Surgery, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, OBGYN, Endocrinology, and Occupational Health
  • Outpatient only position
  • Clinic hours are 7am-5pm Monday- Friday
  • Strong collaboration among the three clinics in the local market
  • Minimal call schedule– 1:12. OSF After-Hours Call Center will take first call

  • Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $285,000-$305,000
    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
