Rheumatologist in Bloomington, Illinois

Join a Rheumatology practice supported by two RNs with opportunities to engage in research, clinical trials, and supported studies. The role includes outpatient infusion therapy at a state-of-the-art cancer center, access to onsite x-ray and lab services, and nurse triage for after-hours call coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in research, clinical trials and supported studies.
  • Provide outpatient infusion therapy at the OSF Cancer Center.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff supporting the rheumatology practice.
  • Work clinic hours from 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.
  • Coordinate with nurse triage for after-hours call coverage.
Required
  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
  • A physician board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology required or newly trained rheumatology fellowship physician with board certification achieved within a few years for continued employment.

  • OSF Medical Group in Bloomington, Illinois is looking for a Rheumatologist to join our Multispecialty Services.
  • Rheumatology practice is supported by two RN’s. Research, clinical trials and supported studies are part of this opportunity.
