Join a large neurology practice and established headache clinic as a headache specialist working alongside a team of three other headache specialists. The role involves primarily outpatient clinical work Monday through Friday with minimal inpatient responsibilities and limited night/weekend call. Opportunities exist for clinical, teaching, and research activities within an academic environment at a Level I trauma center and academic site.
Key Responsibilities
- • Work as a headache specialist amongst a team of 3 other headache specialists
- • Provide clinical care primarily Monday-Friday in support of clinic hours and patient care needs
- • Minimal (desired but optional) inpatient responsibilities
- • Participate in night/weekend call approximately 1:8 general neurology weekend coverage with a resident
- • Engage in clinical, teaching and research activities in an academic environment
Required
- • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- • Board certified in their specialty or purposefully pursuing board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
- • Completion of fellowship training or experience in Headache Medicine
Preferred
- • Commensurate experience for a Division Directorship opportunity

Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty. Alternatively, they must purposefully pursue board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
