Family Medicine Faculty Physician

This role involves outpatient family medicine with obstetrics, including C-section and surgical obstetrics training, with integrated call responsibilities shared among faculty from family medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs, and a private Ob hospitalist group. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, optional inpatient service, and opportunities for academic appointments and research involvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outpatient family medicine with OB including C-section/surgical obstetrics
  • Outpatient Mon-Fri days with Ob/L&D call integrated with other faculty
  • Optional inpatient service
  • Call is 1:4 or less (by telephone only)
  • Collaborate and have dual faculty appointment with Dignity Health East Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program
  • Get involved in both sponsor and investigator initiated research projects
Required
  • MD or DO Degree
  • BC/BE in Family Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited residency
  • A passion for teaching and providing clinically excellent care
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking highly patient-centric Family Medicine with OB physicians to join the Family Medicine Department at our Queen Creek Clinic in Queen Creek, Arizona.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Outpatient + Family Medicine Ob with C-section/Surgical Obstetrics Training
  • Outpatient Mon-Fri days, Ob/L&D call integrated with other faculty from family medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program, and a large private Ob hospitalist group
  • Optional inpatient service
  • Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular
  • Call is 1:4 or less (by telephone only)
  • Avg 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days
  • Great MA support + RN onsite
  • Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix–Open rank based on prior experience and academic output
  • Opportunity to collaborate and have dual faculty appointment with Dignity Health East Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program as well
