Child Neurologist Faculty - Assistant Professor

The position involves delivering family-centered pediatric neurology care at a nationally ranked program, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities including a Level IV Epilepsy Center with advanced neurodiagnostics. The role includes opportunities to pursue subspecialty interests, collaborate on innovative research, and teach and mentor medical students and trainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver family-centered treatment at a nationally ranked pediatric neurology and neurosurgery program.
  • Provide care in a NAEC accredited Level IV Epilepsy Center with a newly upgraded EMU and advanced neurodiagnostics (invasive EEG, MEG, PET, high-resolution neuroimaging).
  • Offer leading-edge pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic options including surgery, minimally invasive procedures, neuromodulation (RNS, DBS), and ketogenic diet therapy.
  • Work alongside experts in neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neuroradiology, neurogenetics, neurorehabilitation, and specialized nursing.
  • Pursue niche interests through clinics for epilepsy surgery, ketogenic diet, early-life epilepsy, neonatal neurology, and post-PICU care.
  • Lead or collaborate on innovative research from basic science to clinical trials, leveraging partnerships through the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeastern Wisconsin.
  • Optional practice opportunities in Appleton, Kenosha, and Delafield, serving patients.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, child neurology residents, and epilepsy fellows.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.
Required
  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Accredited residency program in Child Neurology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

Position Summary

The Division of Pediatric Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division.  This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.
