Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with diseases and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices. Hospitalists provide 24-hour call coverage, round on admitted patients including nursery, and support the Emergency Department by providing consultative service and admission to unassigned patients. Coverage to community pediatricians is provided as requested with appropriate notice and sign-out.
