The Department of Anesthesiology seeks a full-time faculty anesthesiologist to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding team providing exceptional patient care and fulfilling teaching and academic responsibilities within a diverse, high-volume clinical practice. The role involves working collaboratively with anesthesiologists, resident physicians, and CRNAs across a broad case mix including trauma, regional anesthesia, endoscopy, orthopedics, vascular, obstetrics, pediatrics, and NORA.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide exceptional patient care in a diverse, high-volume clinical practice
- • Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, resident physicians, and CRNAs
- • Fulfill important teaching and academic responsibilities
- • Manage a broad case mix including high-acuity trauma, regional anesthesia, endoscopy, orthopedics, vascular, obstetrics, pediatrics, and NORA
- • Perform medical direction and solo cases
- • Participate in call responsibilities approximately 15 times per year with CRNA support overnight
- • Take post-call day off
Required
- • Must be ABA-certified or eligible
- • Hold (or be eligible for) medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri
