Dignity Health Medical Group – North State is a multi-specialty group with care centers in Redding and Red Bluff, CA. Our Redding, CA location has an immediate opening for an experienced or new grad, General Cardiologist to join our dynamic Cardiology service. The incoming General Cardiologist should anticipate a busy, successful practice.

Cardiovascular Services at Mercy Medical Center, Redding includes affiliation with world class Stanford University heart surgeons, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and state of the art diagnostics and interventions.

Clinic Highlights Include

• Great work-life balance; no required hospital call
• 100% outpatient clinic if desired
• Opportunity for hospital based procedures (TEE's, cardioversion, etc)
• Leadership Opportunities available (with additional compensation)
• If desired, Interventional Cardiologists may participate in call 5-7 days month (but is not required)
• Electrophysiologist support
• Bi-weekly device clinic
• Nuclear scans, Echos, dobutamine echos, etc all available in clinic.
• Read your own Echos and participate in Echo panel, if desired
• In-Clinic RN, Echo Tech, and Nuclear Tech
• Strong hospital-based Cardiac Rehabilitation program
• Established, well respected, 60+ provider multi-specialty group
  
  

Compensation

• $500,000 - $575,000/Year Base Salary Guarantee
• Up to $85,000 Signing Incentive
• Relocation incentive available
• Group-paid benefits option (including group contribution to HSA account)
• 8 weeks time off per year
• Company 401k match/contribution of up to 11% of salary

Job Requirements

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Do you love where you live? Come join a multi-specialty group located in the heart of far northern California. Redding is a small city surrounded by a sea of rural and offering the best of both. Located on the I-5 corridor midway between Sacramento and the Oregon border, Redding has the amenities of a city, but with opportunities for kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, or fishing within minutes of the clinic's front door.

Redding is truly the "Choose-your-own-adventure" town with two reservoirs just minutes away, the mighty Sacramento River flowing through the center of town, 225 miles of trails within a 15-miles radius, an active musical theater scene, state and national parks, and hunting and fishing opportunities galore. Want to spend the weekend in the city? Sacramento is just over two hours away through easy farmland and the bay area is only about three to four hours from Redding. Want to refresh your spirit by dipping your toes in the ocean? A quick three hour drive takes you through bigfoot country to the northern CA coast. (Bonus points if you drive about 20 minutes farther to explore Jurassic Park - aka Fern Canyon - or the forest moon of Endor - aka Grizzly Creek SP.)

Everyone loves the idea of moving to California, but let's be honest: it's expensive and packed with people. Give Far Northern California a shot. Redding has everything you love about California, but with a far lower cost of living than in the bay area or southern California. Pay Range

$500,000 - $575,000 /year
