The Medical Director provides clinical direction and supervision for medical staff at the assigned site, ensuring efficient and clinically appropriate medical services. Key Responsibilities
- • Provide clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements
- • Direct clinical services for patients
- • Provide clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director
- • Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided
- • Participate in various committees including Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested
Required
- • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- • Active, unrestricted MD/DO license or ability to obtain one required
- • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
- • Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority
- • Ability to pass credentialing and background check

We are excited to announce that we will now also be expanding our services to include medical care. We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join our team at Metro ReEntry and Metro Transitional Center located in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided, and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
