Medical Director, Infection Prevention

Serves as the key clinical leader responsible for the oversight, strategic direction, and implementation of the health system's infection prevention and control (IP&C) program. This role ensures the highest standards of patient and staff safety by minimizing the risk of infection and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards. Provides expert medical guidance, leads outbreak investigations, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with current licensure to practice medicine in the State
  • Three years of experience in infection prevention, hospital epidemiology, or quality improvement, along with leadership experience
  • Board Certification in Infectious Diseases
