AltaMed Health Services
Provides inpatient hospital care and/or post-acute care at designated AltaMed contracted hospitals and/or SNF facilities. Delivers professional hospitalist services including initial evaluation and management, medical consultations, ongoing daily rounding, and discharge management of inpatient and post-acute care patients. Participates in quality assurance/improvement programs as directed by the Medical Director of Inpatient and Post-Acute Care Services at AltaMed.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provides inpatient hospital care and/or post-acute care at designated AltaMed contracted hospitals and/or SNF facilities.
- • Provides professional hospitalist services, which include initial evaluation and management, medical consultations, ongoing daily rounding, and discharge management of inpatient and post-acute care patients.
- • Complies and participates in the quality assurance/improvement programs established or amended by Contracted Health Plans and by AltaMed, as approved by DHCS and DOC, and directed by the Medical Director of Inpatient and Post-Acute Care Services at AltaMed.
Required
- • Current California license and DEA certification as required.
- • Minimum of 3 years of Hospitalist experience, preferably with a managed care organization.
- • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Preferred
- • SNFist experience preferred.

$318,819.98 - $382,583.98 annually

The range is subject to change.
