AHMG Hematology Oncologist at AdventHealth Apopka
This role focuses on treating adult hematology oncology patients within a multidisciplinary cancer care team. The position emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care and collaboration with specialists across various cancer types, supported by access to chemotherapy, imaging, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, and clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in hematology oncology
- • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, and subspecialists
- • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and support services
- • Utilize chemotherapy, imaging, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery for treatment
- • Engage in clinical trials and research activities
Required
- • Board-certified or board-eligible in Oncology
- • Eligibility for Florida medical license
- • Current, valid BLS and ACLS required
- • Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care

We are looking for a physician who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Our team consists of physicians that treat blood cancers, brain and spine cancers, breast cancer, GI cancers, gyn onc, head and neck cancers, lung and esophageal cancers, pediatric cancer and urologic cancers. For treatment purposes, we have access to chemotherapy, imaging, immunotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. In addition to those, we participate in more than 175 clinical trials each year!
