Medical Director - Gastroenterology
The Gastroenterology Medical Director will lead a full-time practice at a state-of-the-art Level 1 trauma center, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic GI services. The role involves working in a collaborative environment with strong APP support and access to cutting-edge technology and equipment to deliver seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Lead a full-time medical director position in gastroenterology.
- • Provide advanced GI procedures including ERCP, EUS (Radial & Linear), Upper/Lower Endoscopy, Balloon Enteroscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Bravo pH, and Manometry.
- • Utilize state-of-the-art GI lab equipment including Olympus 180/190 scopes, 1T/2T therapeutic scopes, Aloka Arietta EUS, Spyglass with EHL, Axios stenting, and other advanced tools.
- • Collaborate within an efficient practice model supported by advanced practice providers (APPs).
- • Ensure seamless patient care and workflow with the GI outpatient office located on the hospital campus.
Required
- • Full-time availability for the Medical Director position.
Preferred
- • Experience with advanced GI procedures such as ERCP, EUS, Balloon Enteroscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Bravo pH, and Manometry.
- • Familiarity with state-of-the-art GI equipment including Olympus scopes, Aloka Arietta EUS, Spyglass with EHL, Axios stenting, and ERBE with APC.

- GI outpatient office is conveniently located on the hospital campus, ensuring seamless patient care and workflow.
- Collaboration and Support: Efficient practice model with strong APP support
- Visa Sponsorship Available: J-1, H-1B, and O-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, and HHS programs.
- State-of-the-art Environment: featuring a cutting-edge GI lab with 6 procedure rooms, 13 holding beds, and advanced technology.
