The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery seeks General Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery physicians to practice at regional hospital locations, specifically the Baytown Campus. The role involves clinical service, research, and academic responsibilities, supporting residency education and providing comprehensive patient care with access to the latest treatments and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- • Practice General Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at regional hospital locations throughout the greater Houston area, including Baytown Campus
- • Support OTO-HNS residency education for Baylor College of Medicine, UTMB Health, UT Houston Medical School, and medical students at Texas A&M College of Medicine
- • Provide clinical service, research, and academic contributions
- • Deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the latest treatments and technologies
- • Participate in innovative teaching and learning programs with evidence-based methodology
- • May be required to be on-call during emergencies such as disasters or severe weather events
- • May require travel within and outside the Houston Metropolitan area
Required
- • Board Certified/Board Eligible from the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
- • Texas medical license or ability to obtain one

Candidates should be Board Certified/Board Eligible from the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, have a Texas medical license, or be able to obtain one.
In conjunction with the Houston Methodist Academic Institute and the Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OTO-HNS) supports the OTO-HNS residency education for Baylor College of Medicine, UTMB Health and UT Houston Medical School, and the medical students at Texas A&M College of Medicine. We are searching for an individual who possess outstanding clinical acumen, surgical skill, a record of academic accomplishments and a dedication to education to join our faculty.
