Physician - Infectious Disease Physician
The role involves joining a growing Department of Infectious Diseases with responsibilities in inpatient and outpatient infectious disease practices, including specialty clinics and an ambulatory infusion suite. The position supports organ transplant programs, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention/control, and offers opportunities for academic faculty appointment.
Key Responsibilities
- • Join the Department of Infectious Diseases providing inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases practices including Travel, NTM, and Transplant specialty clinics
- • Participate in the ambulatory infusion suite with associated OPAT Program
- • Support inpatient infectious diseases consultative services for solid organ transplant and hematopoietic stem-cell transplant programs
- • Engage in antimicrobial stewardship supported by clinical infectious disease pharmacists
- • Opportunities for involvement with infection prevention/control and antimicrobial stewardship
- • Participate in the ACGME-accredited infectious diseases fellowship training program
- • Contribute to the clinical research program with full-time study coordinators and established research infrastructure
