- NICU Bed Count: 10 beds
- Average Daily Census: 5-6
- Call Schedule: Shared call with pediatric team; typically, 1:3 Shared call with neonatologist. They are currently doing 1:2
- NICU Team: Experienced neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and case managers dedicated to family-centered care
- Collaborative team including pediatricians, obstetricians, and nursing staff
- Opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and education
- Provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate families and support staff on neonatal care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
