The role involves providing comprehensive diagnostic breast imaging services using multimodality techniques including Mammography, MRI, ultrasonography, and ultrasound-guided biopsies. The position also includes educating medical students, residents, and fellows, developing academic and scholarly programs, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical care, research, and education.
Key Responsibilities

Required
- • Medical degree
- • Board-certification or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
- • Licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
- • Certification in either Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- • Post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging

Responsibilities
The Department of Breast Imaging consists of 33 fellowship-trained radiologists who provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to screen, diagnose, stage and follow-up patients with known or suspected malignancy using state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Members of the section are responsible for the following:
- Delivering excellent, comprehensive, and compassionate care for patients.
- Providing multimodality breast imaging expertise, including oncology-focused Mammography, MRI, outpatient ultrasonography and ultrasound guided biopsies and other radiologic procedures.
- Educating medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Developing academic and scholarly programs and projects to advance an understanding of cancer; and
- Fostering interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to clinical care, research, and education.
Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, a board-certification or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology, licensure by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, certification in either Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and have post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging. Prior research experience and publications in Breast Imaging is highly desirable.

This position has a target base salary of $ 443,854 to $ 500,000 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
