Pediatric Provider

Deliver comprehensive, continuous primary care to a panel of pediatric patients and participate in Urgent Care coverage as needed. Provide clinical supervision to nurse practitioners and physician assistants, contribute to community health initiatives, and serve as a clinical leader involved in productivity, quality improvement, performance initiatives, utilization review, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive, continuous primary care to a panel of pediatric patients
  • Participate in Urgent Care coverage as needed
  • Provide clinical supervision to nurse practitioners and physician assistants
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community health initiatives
  • Represent the health center in community groups, partnerships, and task forces as assigned
  • Serve as a clinical leader, actively engaging in productivity, quality improvement, performance initiatives, utilization review, and staff training
Required
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
  • Completion of a residency in Family Practice or another primary care specialty
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice or another primary care specialty
  • Current Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Eligible for unrestricted health center and hospital privileges at affiliated facilities
  • Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
Preferred
  • Minimum of two years of post‑residency experience preferred
  • Obstetrics experience/practice preferred

Qualifications:


Education and Experience:



  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required

  • Completion of a residency in Family Practice or another primary care specialty

  • Minimum of two years of post‑residency experience preferred

  • Obstetrics experience/practice preferred


Licensure & Certifications



  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice or another primary care specialty

  • Current Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Eligible for unrestricted health center and hospital privileges at affiliated facilities

  • Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
