Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clinical X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Neurocritical Care Research Lead

The Neurocritical Care Research Lead will contribute to the research leadership of UCSD's Neurocritical Care Program while providing high-quality teaching and training to students, residents, and fellows. The role includes attending 8-12 flexible weeks on service in UCSD's Neuro-ICUs, supporting both clinical and academic missions.

Position title: Neurocritical Care Research Lead

Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $192,000 - $320,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. The Department of Neurosciences (https://neurosciences.ucsd.edu/) at the University of California San Diego is committed to academic excellence within its faculty, staff, and student body.

UCSD Health, San Diego's exclusive academic health care system, is committed to advancing the care of neurocritical care patients through exemplary clinical care and cutting-edge research.

We are seeking accomplished candidates for the position of Neurocritical Care Research Lead in our expanding Neurocritical Care Program. Mid-career and senior neurointensivists are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the research leadership of UCSD's Neurocritical Care Program
  • Attend 8-12 flexible weeks on service in UCSD's Neuro-ICUs
  • Provide high-quality teaching and training to students, residents, and fellows
