Anesthesiologist Physician - Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center
The role involves providing anesthesiology services in a flexible, per diem capacity at a community hospital with a diverse case mix including general, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, OB/GYN, pediatric, and subspecialty surgical services. The position supports approximately 9,200 cases annually across multiple anesthetizing locations, operating Monday through Friday in a collaborative care team model.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide anesthesiology care across approximately 9,200 cases annually
- • Work in 8 anesthetizing locations including 5 main OR suites, endoscopy, EP Lab/CVIR, and Labor and Delivery
- • Collaborate within a care team model
- • Manage a broad case mix including general, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, OB/GYN, pediatric, and subspecialty surgical services
- • Maintain a flexible schedule arranged by mutual agreement
