Interventional Cardiologist - Citrus Cardiology Consultants
This role focuses on providing primarily interventional cardiology services, including bread-and-butter PCI and complex coronary work, with optional peripheral procedures. The position offers opportunities for academic involvement through teaching in an ACGME-accredited fellowship program and leadership as a core clinical leader.
Key Responsibilities
- • Primarily interventional services with some general cardiology available
- • Bread-and-butter PCI and complex coronary work, with optional peripheral
- • Additional teaching available with our ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Program in partnership with University of South Florida/HCA Healthcare
- • Opportunity to shape the next generation of cardiologists as a core clinical leader
- • Monday–Friday schedule with shared call responsibilities
- • Work with excellent support from a team of 29 APPs, experienced nurses, MAs, and administrative staff
- • Streamlined workflow in both clinic and hospital settings
Required
- • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
- • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- • MD or DO from a U.S.-accredited residency and fellowship program
- • Strong commitment to quality, patient satisfaction, and collaborative care
- • Group can support Physician J1/H-1B waivers through the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission
Preferred
- • Peripheral experience a plus, but not required
- • Board certification in Echo or Nuclear preferred, not required
