Pediatrician - AdventHealth Medical Group - Tavares, David Walker
The role involves providing pediatric care in a well-established practice, including performing minor office-based procedures and supervising Advanced Practice Providers. The physician will participate in shared call coverage and work a set schedule that may include early mornings and evenings to meet patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- • Supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
- • Performing minor office-based procedures including circumcisions, vaccinations per AAP guidelines, CLIA waived labs
- • Shared practice call coverage for evenings and weekends
- • Ability to work a set schedule, which may include early morning and/or evening hours to meet patient needs
Required
- • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
- • Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility if less than 3 years out of training)
- • Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
- • Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations per AAP guidelines, CLIA waived labs
