The Rheumatologist will diagnose and manage autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders, providing comprehensive patient-centered care and developing individualized treatment plans using advanced therapeutics and biologic agents. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient education.
Key Responsibilities
- • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions.
- • Perform physical examinations, review diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans.
- • Administer joint injections, aspirations, and in-office procedures as needed.
- • Manage and monitor chronic conditions, adjusting treatments based on patient progress.
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care, orthopedics, dermatology, and physical therapy.
- • Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
- • Maintain accurate, comprehensive medical documentation.
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- • Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program and completion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowship program.
- • Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
- • Eligible for or currently holding an active and unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
- • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and managing autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic diseases.
- • Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is actively recruiting a full-time Physician to join its Family Medicine practice in their Boulder County clinics. BMC has been providing high quality medical care to Boulder County and its surrounding area since 1949. A physician owned and governed multi-specialty practice of 90 providers including MDs, DOs, Certified Mid-Wives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and 320 support staff. BMC is committed to high quality service and expert, professional care. It serves patients in five locations, conveniently located in Boulder, Erie, Longmont, and Louisville, CO and is led by a full-time professional management team that allows you to focus on patient care.
