Sound Physicians
This full-time Nocturnist Hospital Medicine Physician role involves working exclusively overnight shifts to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. The physician will cover the ICU overnight, supervise residents’ admissions, and collaborate with a close-knit team of physicians in various work groups.
Key Responsibilities
- • Nocturnist covers the ICU overnight and supervises the residents’ admissions to the floor.
- • Manageable workload with phenomenal team culture.
- • Work alongside a close-knit team of 5 physicians, actively involved in work groups such as practice guidelines, the code blue committee, and the ICU celebration of life committee.
- • Use EMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictation.
Required
- • Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
- • Must be comfortable managing ICU patients and be open to performing central lines.
- • Authorized to work in the USA.
Preferred
- • Central line & airways skills are desired, although back-up is available.

Local Team Collaboration
- Work alongside a close-knit team of 5 physicians, actively involved in work groups such as practice guidelines, the code blue committee, and the ICU celebration of life committee.
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
- Must be comfortable managing ICU patients and be open to performing central lines.
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Flexible scheduling with 10-hour night shifts M-F and 11.5 hour night shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
- Nocturnist covers the ICU overnight and supervises the residents’ admissions to the floor. Intensivists are available telephonically overnight. Central line & airways skills are desired, although back-up is available.
- Phenomenal team culture. Manageable workload.
- In-house Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs.
