About us
GABA Telepsychiatry was founded in 2018 by Dr Reddy with the mission to provide the same high quality care as in-person psychiatry through the use of online platforms, reducing the costs of psychiatric treatment and increasing its reach. GABA has expanded to 7 psychiatrists covering adult and child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and neurology, covering 7 states (NY, NJ, SC, FL, TN, IL, CA).
The role
We are looking for an experienced board-certified psychiatrist to undertake a mixture of clinical and forensic work. Most sessions are conducted online but occasional in-person visits or court testimony may be required. Full support is provided to Psychiatrists through our dedicated team of patient advocates and forensic co-ordinators to minimise the administrative burden and enable full focus on our patients and forensic clients. We are looking for someone with a passion for private practice, looking to build a secure and long-term patient portfolio.
Experience in and board-certification in forensic psychiatry is highly desirable but not essential, as full guidance and training will be provided, however an interest and willingness to learn forensic psychiatry is a must as is a clean medical license. Fluency in Spanish is also highly desirable but not essential. Multiple state licences are also highly desirable.
The role offers a flexible schedule, generous compensation and a healthy work life balance. Compensation is $200-$500k ($200K for part time, $500K for full time) per annum, depending on hours worked.
