Hospitalist-Nocturnist
This role involves providing comprehensive cross-coverage admissions to all patients referred to the hospital medicine service during nocturnist shifts. The position is part of an established department within a financially stable, physician-led organization focused on high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive cross-coverage admissions to all patients referred to the service
- • Work 161 shifts per year, seven 12-hour shifts on followed by seven days off
- • Collaborate with 8 hospitalists covering Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care units 7a-7p
- • Coordinate with 1 non-rounding Medical Officer of the Day 7a-7p
- • Work alongside 2 swing shift APP admitters 7a-7p & 11a-11p
- • Work with 2 physicians and 1 APP covering 7p-7a
- • Utilize common EMR/PACS across all Mayo Clinic Health System sites
Required
