Akron Children's
The candidate will join a well-established Heart Center team providing comprehensive pediatric cardiac care, including advanced diagnostics, complex surgeries, and specialized programs such as adult congenital heart disease, fetal imaging, and cardiac MRI. The role requires experience in fetal imaging and trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE) to support a large patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide a complete spectrum of coordinated, compassionate cardiac care to over 10,000 patients annually
- • Participate in advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures
- • Contribute to the adult congenital heart disease program
- • Engage in the fetal imaging program
- • Support the cardiac MRI program
Required
- • Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Cardiology
- • Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio
Preferred
- • Experience in fetal imaging
- • Experience in trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE)

The successful candidate will join a well-established group, expanding the services of the Heart Center team. Our team includes 16 pediatric cardiologists, 7 advanced practice providers and 2 cardiothoracic surgeons who provide a complete spectrum of coordinated, compassionate, cardiac care to over 10,000 patients annually. Services include advanced diagnostics, complex surgical procedures, an adult congenital heart disease program, a fetal imaging program and a cardiac MRI program. The ideal candidate to add to this robust team will have experience in fetal imaging and trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE).
